Relocated from its private dining club locale in Harlem, the new Recette has a West Village rustic quality, refined as one would expect for the formerly scrappy, currently cashed-up neighborhood. Contemporary American cuisine will populate the menu with a flair for French technique and, well, flair. The former Jarnac space should be excited at the renewal, since it sees former Gordon Ramsey acolyte and owner Jesse Schenker take over the address.
