The former Dojo West was a college-kid infested, rather bland affair with a far more tasteful interior than its menu. After a six-month renovation, Dojo now operates as an izakaya, which is far more in line with the clientele and the spirit of the neighborhood—if the izakaya craze along St. Marks has taught us anything.
